The Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in economics (any field). The position begins July 1, 2011 (subject to budget provisions). The salary is per UCSD pay scales. Candidates must show potential for achieving significant results in original research, possess strong teaching skills, and have, or expect to complete, a PhD in economics by September 1, 2011. Candidates must provide vita, three original letters of reference (sent under separate cover), and a sample of the applicant’s work. In accordance with University policy, the preferred candidates will demonstrate potential for strong contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
