Tenure-Stream Assistant Professor (Microeconomics/Behavioral)
Colgate University

The Economics Department invites applications for a tenure-stream position at the assistant professor level commencing in the Fall 2011 semester. Expectations include excellence in both teaching and research.  Preference will be given to candidates in behavioral economics, but applications from candidates with specializations in family economics, welfare/poverty, K-12 education policy, or new institutional economics will also be considered.  Ability to teach econometrics or statistics is also desirable. Completion of Ph.D. prior to or shortly after the date of hire is expected. Please send a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, 3 letters of recommendation, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a job-market paper. Review of applications will begin November 15, 2010.
