REGARD is a database service containing in-depth information on social science research, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (UK). The Beige Book : Summary of Commentary on Current Economic Conditions by Federal Reserve District
National Economic Trends collected and published monthly by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
A comprehensive snapshot, primarily graphical, of the state of the U.S. economy covering output, inflation, labor markets, interest rates, government budgets, international trade and more. A brief essay in each issue discusses a topic of current interest.

Handbook of International Economic Statistics - 1997  from the Central Intelligence Agency
The Handbook provides basic worldwide statistics for comparing the economic performance of major countries and regions. In general, the data in the Handbook are for 1970, 1980, and individual years in the period 1990-96.

This resource provides WWW access to the electronic versions of the 1988 and 1994 County and City Data Books. This service provides the opportunity to create custom printouts and/or customized data subsets.
Regional Economic Information Service (REIS)
The REIS data base provides local area economic data for states, counties, and metropolitan areas for 1969-1995. Statistics in the data base include: personal income and earning variables, full and part employment variables, transfer payments variables, and farm income and expenses variables.
