Linda Loubert is a Research Associate at the Institute for Urban Research at Morgan State University.  Before coming to Morgan State, she participated in a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Economy at the University of Texas at Dallas, May 2000.  Her primary interests are in the areas of public policy, public finance, social disparities in education and health, political mobilization of the underclass, and, incorporating Geographical Information Systems (GIS) into spatial analysis of schools and neighborhoods.
